Seema Impex

Seema Impex is located right on Gandhi Gali. This is one of those streets where you can barely move during the middle of the day because of all the people and the carts. Our shop is quite small, but we make the most of every inch of space we have. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with different items we export. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is stored. We have been in Gandhi Gali for many years, and we have seen the market change a lot, though it has always stayed crowded. The daily routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up, sweep the front, and start looking at the orders that came in. There is a lot of talking involved, mostly with people passing by or other shop owners. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People find us because they know where we are and they know we do the work. Sometimes we have to carry heavy bundles all the way to the end of the gali because the trucks can't get in close enough. It is a lot of physical labor, and the air is always thick with the smell of the market. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the packages ready for shipment. It’s a simple business run by simple people.
