Ram Newaj Singh Pg College is out in the Kumarganj area of Faizabad. Specifically, we are in Bawan Milkipur, which is a bit of a rural setting in Uttar Pradesh. The college is surrounded by a lot of open land and fields. It is a very quiet place compared to the big cities. Students come here from all the nearby villages. Some walk quite a distance or ride their cycles on the dusty roads to reach us. The building is a large, simple structure that stands out in the greenery. We have big classrooms with high ceilings to help with the heat in the summer. Life here moves at a slower pace. We don't have many of the modern bells and whistles you might find elsewhere, but we have enough space for everyone. The office handles a lot of paperwork for the post-graduate courses, and there is always a queue of students waiting to ask about their forms. We try our best to help them out, even when things get a bit disorganized. The rainy season can make the roads around Milkipur a bit difficult to navigate, but the students still show up. It is a very grounded place. Most of us who work here are also from this district, so we understand the local challenges. It’s just a plain college serving the community in this part of Faizabad. The walls are mostly bare, except for some old notices and the occasional calendar from a local bank hanging near the main desk.
