Ukava

Ukava is a small outfit based right here in Takiya Azadgan. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not from around here, as the streets can get a bit confusing. We have a small sign by the door, but most of our neighbors just know us by name anyway. The building is old, and the stairs creak a bit when you go up to the main room. We do not have any fancy equipment or high-tech systems. It is mostly just us sitting around a table getting the work done. We started Ukava because we wanted to do something for ourselves instead of working for the big companies in the city. The mornings are usually quiet, but by noon the area gets busy with people going to the market nearby. We keep our windows open to catch the breeze, even though it brings in some of the street noise. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, eating some snacks from the shop around the corner. We do not have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job and make enough to keep the lights on and the families fed. It is a humble way to make a living, but it suits us just fine.
