Shri Durga Steel

Shri Durga Steel is situated out in Bhilona Village. It’s part of the Bharthana Tehsil in Etawah District. We’re pretty close to the Bhilona Railway Station, which helps a lot when we have to figure out where things are going. Being in a village means things are a bit slower than the big cities, but the work is still heavy. We deal with steel, so the place is mostly open sheds and a lot of heavy lifting. It gets quite hot in the summer under the tin roofs, but we have a good group of local guys who are used to the hard work. We don't have a computer for everything; a lot is still written down in registers. The station noise is a constant background, and sometimes we go there for tea when things are quiet. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to provide what the people around here need for their construction or repairs. The yard is usually full of pipes and sheets, and it can look a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we like being part of the Bhilona community. People know where to find us when they need some steel for a project. The railway station is just a short walk away, and the sound of the trains passing by is something we've just learned to ignore. It’s a hardworking environment, but we take a break when the sun is at its highest.
