Sai Rice Mills

We are Sai Rice Mills. Our place is located near Bakewar Chauraha in Patel Nagar. It’s right there by the Byepass Road and Bharthana Road intersection. It's a very busy spot with all the traffic coming through. We have a lot of space for the trucks to turn around, which is good because they are in and out all day. The mill is an old structure but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of our time making sure the machinery is oiled and running right. It’s a lot of manual labor. Lifting bags and moving things from one side of the floor to the other. We don’t have a fancy logo or anything like that. Just the name on the front of the building. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time. We’re like a big family here in Patel Nagar. We eat lunch together in the back shed most days. You can hear the hum of the mill from down the street. It’s a familiar sound to everyone around here. We don't try to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to keep the mill running and make sure the grain is processed properly. It’s simple, hard work. We stay late when we have to and we don't complain about it much.
