S S Memorial Senior Secondary Public School

S S Memorial Senior Secondary Public School is based in Saifai, which is over in the Etawah district. It is a bit of a rural setting, so things are usually a lot slower and quieter around here than in the big cities. The school is a simple structure that serves the families living in and around Saifai. We have a few blocks of classrooms and a small area for sports. Most of our students come from nearby villages, so you see a lot of bicycles parked near the entrance. The teachers here are local folks who understand the community well. We spend our days teaching the standard subjects and helping the kids with their homework. It is not a place with a lot of extra trimmings. The benches are a bit old and sometimes the fans make a clicking noise, but they work well enough. We have a lot of open space around the building, which is nice when the weather is pleasant. In the winter, it gets quite cold in the mornings, so everyone comes wrapped in thick shawls and sweaters. We have a small staff room where we eat our lunch and talk about the upcoming exams. It is just an honest school trying to do its best for the kids in this part of Etawah. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a place for learning.
