Our place is located at 242 in Kalyan Nagar, which is right in Bharthana. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find. Red Hoos Fashions has been operating from here for a while now. We share the space near where Prayag Narayan Sharma stays. It’s a local operation, nothing too loud or flashy. Most of our time is spent looking at different patterns and deciding what fits best for the local style around Etawah. The summers get really hot here, so we try to get most of the heavy work done before noon. Usually, the shop floor is covered in scraps of cloth and thread by the end of the day. We don’t mind the mess much because it means we’re actually getting things done. This all started because we wanted to do something with fashion right here in our hometown instead of moving away to a big city. Manual work takes up the day, checking seams and making sure the colors are what we expected. Sometimes the shipments are late, or a machine breaks down, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It's a small team, and we all know each other well. Eating lunch together and then getting back to the sewing machines or the packing table is the usual routine. It’s a simple life, but it’s our work and we take it seriously enough. Lacking a big marketing team, we just use our own hands and some old machines that still work well.
