Porwal Khad Bhandar

If you come to the Chauraha, you’ll see Porwal Khad Bhandar right there. We deal with supplies for farmers and anyone growing things in the dirt. The shop is usually full of bags and containers of different sizes. It gets pretty dusty inside, especially when we’re moving stock around. Being at the Chauraha means we see a lot of people passing through every single day. Farmers come in from the surrounding villages to get what they need for their crops. We’ve been here at this location for a good many years. It’s a straightforward business. We keep track of what’s in season so we can have the right stuff ready. Sometimes the place is packed with people waiting and talking about the rain or the harvest. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It’s just a place where you can get your supplies and maybe have a quick chat before heading back out to the fields. My family has been involved in this for a long time. We know the land around here pretty well. We open early because the people we serve are usually up before the sun. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. Porwal Khad Bhandar is just part of the local scene at the Chauraha. We’re just here doing our bit for the local agriculture. It is a humble life, but we like the work we do here.
