Kumar Brothers

Kumar Brothers has been around Katra Shamsher Khan in the Karm Ganj area for a long time. Our place is quite close to the Etawah Junction Railway Station, so we hear the trains coming and going all day. It’s a familiar sound to us now. The shop itself is tucked away in a busy part of the neighborhood where there are always people walking by. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. People mostly know us because we’ve been here so long. The interior is full of old shelves and stacks of items that have accumulated over the years. It’s a bit of a maze, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We don't use any high-tech systems to manage the place; we just use a pen and paper mostly. It’s a small, family-run kind of setup. We don't have many employees, just a few of us who have been doing this forever. The neighborhood is lively, and we often chat with the neighbors while we work. It’s not a polished business by any stretch of the imagination. We just open the doors in the morning, do what we need to do, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life and a simple business, which is exactly how we like it. We’re just part of the local scenery here, doing our thing every day.
