Dayal Mother & Child Hospital

Dayal Mother & Child Hospital is located right across from the Transit Hostel in the Civil Line area. It is a pretty well-known spot because of the hostel across the way. We see a lot of families coming through, mostly mothers with their little ones. The Civil Line area is usually quite busy, so there is always some noise from the street. The hospital itself is not anything too fancy to look at, but it is where we spend all our time. We have got a lot of rooms and they are almost always full of people. The staff here is used to the sound of kids crying or playing in the hallways. We do not have any big corporate mission statements hanging on the walls. We just get to work every morning, check the appointments, and try to keep things organized. It is a lot of practical, everyday work like weighing babies and talking to parents. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded, but we do our best to manage the flow. Being in Civil Line means we are centrally located, which is helpful for people coming from different parts of the city. We are not trying to sell anyone on anything; we just run the hospital and take care of the folks who show up. It is a busy, sometimes messy, but honest way to earn a living. The Transit Hostel is the best landmark if you are looking for us.
