Awami Madad India Foundation

Awami Madad India Foundation is based in Katra Khub Chand, which is in Jaswant Nagar, Etawah. We operate out of Mohammed Aleem’s place. Etawah is our home, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. The foundation started because we saw a lot of people around here who could use a bit of extra help. We aren't a big organization with a lot of money. Most of what we do comes from our own time and effort. Our office in Katra Khub Chand is where we meet up and decide what needs to be done each week. It is pretty informal. You might find us sitting on the porch or in the front room talking things over. We do not have a fancy logo or polished brochures. We just talk to people and see how we can assist. Jaswant Nagar is a tight-knit place, and news travels fast by word of mouth. That is how most people find out about us. We do not try to sound like a big company because we aren't one. We are just neighbors helping neighbors. Sometimes the work is hard and we do not always have the answers right away, but we try our best. It is a simple way of living and working. We stay busy with the day-to-day stuff and do not worry too much about the rest. If you are in Etawah, you can usually find one of us around.
