Ankit Tea

Our tea business is set up in Village Jaswantnagar, which is right by National Highway 2. Being near the highway means we see a lot of different people passing through, but our main focus is always the local village crowd. Ankit Tea is just a small operation. We get the tea in bulk and then we sort it out ourselves. It’s a dusty place sometimes because of the heavy road traffic, but we keep the tea sealed up tight in large containers. It’s mostly just me and a couple of local helpers working here every day. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a solid room with some scales and bags. People from the district come by when they need a good amount for their own shops or homes. We’ve been here long enough that most people know the name. We aren't trying to sell you something you don't really need. It’s just tea. Some days the highway is loud, but you get used to it after a while. We keep our hours regular so people know when to find us. We don't spend money on commercials or flyers. We figure if the product is okay, people will come back. That's how my father did it and that's how we do it now. It’s honest work and it puts food on the table for us. We focus on the basics and don't worry about the rest of the noise from the big city brands.
