Our shop has been here for generations, and not much has changed in terms of how we do things. The sound of metal hitting metal is what you hear all day. We manufacture all sorts of brass items, from small household things to larger pieces. It’s hot work, especially when we are melting things down or polishing the finished pieces. People know us because their fathers or grandfathers bought things from us. It’s a family-run thing, and we take it one day at a time. We are usually busy packing up crates for suppliers or showing a customer a particular bowl or pot. It’s a noisy life, but it is ours and we’ve gotten quite used to it.
