The clinic is tucked away near the East Arch in Periyar Nagar, right on Gandhiji Road. If you know where the Head Post Office is, you can find Vimala Dental Clinic pretty easily because it’s in the Palani Raja Building in E Block. It’s a busy part of town with lots of people walking by all the time. Inside, we have the usual dental chairs and those bright lights that everyone knows. We spend a lot of time looking at teeth and talking to people about their gums. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but once you’re in the chair, it’s mostly just the sound of the equipment. We started out here quite some time ago and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The building itself is an older one, but we keep our space tidy and organized. Patients come in for all sorts of things, like a toothache that kept them up at night or just a regular checkup. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because their neighbor or a cousin told them to come here. It’s a small team of us working here every day. We make sure the instruments are sterilized and the files are in order. It’s steady work, and we see familiar faces every week. Periyar Nagar is a good place to be located because everything is close by, and the office is easy for people to reach.
