Vijaya Hospital

You can find us on Surampatti 4th Road in the Edayankattu Valasu area. It is a local spot and we have been serving the people around here for years. Vijaya Hospital is not a huge facility with hundreds of beds, but we keep busy enough. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we are constantly wiping down the front counters. Most of the patients come from nearby streets or the villages just outside the main town. The doctors here are used to the routine and they know a lot of the patients' histories without even looking at the charts. We have a small parking area for scooters, though it gets quite cramped during the morning hours. The staff likes to sit near the window in the afternoon when it is quiet for a few minutes. We do not go in for any of that modern decor or fancy lighting. It is just plain walls and functional furniture because that is what is practical. We have seen a lot of changes in Edayankattu Valasu over the years, with new shops opening up and more traffic on the 4th Road. Through all that, we just keep our doors open and do the work that needs doing. It is a steady life and we are glad to be a part of this specific community.
