Podaran Softdrinks

We are located out on Tirupur Road in Kangayam, specifically at Sf 1558/2C and the surrounding plots. Podaran Softdrinks is a local operation through and through. The area, Vaikkalmedu, is a bit away from the main town center, which gives us the space we need for the bottling and the trucks. Making soft drinks involves a lot of water, sugar, and staying on top of the bottling line every day. It can get quite humid in Tamil Nadu, and that’s when everyone starts calling for more crates to be delivered. We don't have a flashy storefront. It’s mostly just the plant and the loading docks where we spend our time. Most of our workers live in the nearby villages and they’ve been with us through many seasons. We’ve seen the roads around Kangayam change over the years, but our work stays pretty much the same. We fill the bottles, cap them, and get them onto the trucks as fast as we can. There’s no secret formula to how we run things; we just try to keep the machines clean and the output steady. If a machine acts up, we fix it ourselves or call the local mechanic to take a look. It’s a basic business that keeps people refreshed. When the sun is beating down on the Tirupur Road, we know it’s going to be a long day.
