Texco Interlinning

Texco Interlinning is located at No.231-M in Muthali Thottam. We are right in Ward No. 17 over in the Peria Semur area. This part of town has always been known for its long link to the textile trade, so it made sense for us to be here. The building we are in is an old one, and you can really tell by the way the floors are worn down in some spots. We handle a lot of fabric rolls every single day. It is dusty work, and there are always bits of thread clinging to our clothes by the time we head home in the evening. We have a few machines that run most of the day, making that steady humming sound that you just get used to after a while. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. We have a small space for storage and a couple of long tables where we check the quality of what comes in. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the roads around here are quite narrow and hard for the big trucks to navigate. We just manage as best as we can with the space we have. My father used to say that as long as the machines are turning, things are going fine. We take breaks when we can and usually share some tea in the back room. It’s a steady rhythm of work that doesn’t change much from one month to the next.
