Svm Agency is tucked away at No. 52 on the first floor of Mandaveli Lane. If you know the area, we are right near Mashuti Street and the Anjinayar Temple. The Madaveli Market is also just around the corner, so it gets very crowded and noisy during the day. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the bells from the temple while we are working. Our office is a simple one-room setup mostly, with files stacked up and desks pushed together. We do a lot of agency work which means a lot of people coming in and out to drop off papers or ask questions. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but everyone manages. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time and know most of the people who run the shops nearby. It feels like a real community here even though it is busy. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out or work on paperwork by the window light. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us trying to stay on top of the orders and deliveries. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone's name and how they like their tea. We keep things moving as best as we can despite the narrow streets and the constant traffic outside our door. Most days we are done by evening if the workload allows.
