Sangamesh Exports

Sangamesh Exports is tucked away in Azhagu Towers over on 1 Anna Street. If you’re heading towards Surampatti Post, you’ve probably seen the building. It’s a busy spot. Our space is usually filled with boxes and packing tape. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Exporting stuff means there’s always paperwork and deadlines to think about. We started this because we knew a few people who needed things moved, and it just grew from there. There are days when the lift in the building is slow, so we end up carrying things, which keeps us fit I guess. We aren't some giant international firm with a hundred floors. We just work out of this one spot. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from all the cardboard. We try to keep the coffee pot full because the mornings start early. Surampatti is a good area to be in, though parking can be a headache sometimes. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in the towers, but we’ve stuck around. It’s a lot of manual work and making sure the labels are right. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure the shipments get where they need to go. We keep our heads down and stay busy throughout the week. It’s a lot of logistics but it’s what we know.
