Sri Sabari Store

Sri Sabari Store. We are situated at No- 711 on the Erode Main Road in Kvindapadi. Our shop is quite close to the Four Cross, which is where everyone meets up. Being on the main road means we see a lot of buses and trucks passing by every hour. The dust from the road covers the front steps daily. We sell all sorts of things for the house. It is a local store where people stop on their way back from work. The building is painted a dull color and the sign is a bit faded from the sun. Inside, it’s a bit dark but we have enough shelves to hold everything. We spend a lot of time just restocking the shelves and talking to the regulars. The floor is made of old stone and it’s easy to sweep. We don't have a computer system, just a cash drawer and a notebook. Sometimes the electricity goes off in the afternoon, so we just sit on the bench outside. The Four Cross area is always loud with people shouting and vehicles. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock. It's a bit of a squeeze when the delivery truck comes. We don’t do any marketing. Our customers are our neighbors and the farmers from around Kvindapadi. It is just a plain store run by people who live nearby.
