Sri Raghavendra Eye Hospital

Sri Raghavendra Eye Hospital is situated on the first floor of PJ Complex, which is right across from the Government Hospital. The address is 224 / 1. Being opposite the GH means there is always a crowd outside and lots of noise from the buses and autos. You have to walk up a set of stairs to get to us. The complex is an older building, so it has that lived-in feel. We focus entirely on eye care. The waiting room is small and simple, with a window that looks out onto the busy road. We have the standard eye charts on the walls and the testing equipment in the back rooms. It’s not a shiny, high-tech looking office. It’s more of a practical place where we get the job done. A few of us run the whole thing. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People find us because we are in a convenient spot right near the main hospital. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We know the other people who have shops in PJ Complex, so it feels like a little community. We just spend our days checking visions and helping people with their glasses. It’s a straightforward, local eye clinic and we’ve been in this same spot for quite a while now.
