Sri Balaji Paints

Our shop, Sri Balaji Paints, is located at number 72 on Motdhur Road. We’re right across the street from the Kanara Bank, so we’re pretty easy to find if you're in the area. We spend our days surrounded by cans of paint and color swatches. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy buckets and mixing colors for people who want their walls to look a certain way. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Sometimes the floor gets a few drips of paint on it, but that just shows we’ve been busy. We’ve been running this place for a while now. We know a lot of the local painters and homeowners who do their own repairs. It’s nice when someone comes back to show us a picture of their finished room. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learned by doing it every day. The road outside can get a bit dusty, so we’re always wiping down the tins. It’s a steady business. We try to keep a good variety of brands and types of paint in stock. If the bank across the road is open, we’re usually open too. We’re just a regular local business trying to help people brighten up their homes. It's not glamorous, but it's our livelihood and we take it seriously enough.
