Sna Granites

We are based out in Kunnathur, right on the Uthukuli Main Road at number 858. If you drive past, you can't miss the stacks of granite blocks and slabs sitting in the yard. It is a dusty job, and we usually end up with white powder on our shoes by the end of every day. We handle all sorts of stone work here. It is mostly heavy lifting and cutting. The machines are loud and the sun gets quite hot out on the road, but that is the nature of the granite business. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office; mostly we are out where the stone is. The crew here is used to the physical work. We take the raw blocks and get them ready for whatever project someone is working on. It could be for a floor or a building front. We don’t do much advertising. People just see the yard and stop their trucks to ask about prices or what we have in stock. It is a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes the rain slows us down because moving wet stone is slippery and dangerous, but we manage. It is a tough trade, but there is something satisfying about seeing a rough piece of rock turn into something smooth and useful. We have been on this road for a long time and know most of the other businesses around here.
