Shri Bala Murugan Hospital

You can find this hospital at number 119 on Krishnam Palayam Road in the Karungapalayam area. We are right in the heart of Karungapalayam so there is a lot of local life right outside our door. The hospital has been a part of this street for quite some time now. We have a reception area that is always a bit cluttered with papers and registers because there is a lot to keep track of. The rooms for the patients are along the main hallway and we have a small pharmacy section where the medicines are kept on the shelves. It gets pretty loud during the day with the traffic on Krishnam Palayam Road but it settles down a bit at night. We have a staff of nurses and helpers who stay busy with the cleaning and the patients. The building has a few floors and we have to go up and down the stairs a lot because the elevator is quite small. We have some benches outside for people to sit if the waiting room gets too full. The walls have some marks on them from the stretchers bumping into them over the years. We just try to keep things moving and help whoever walks through the door. It is a practical place where the focus is just on the daily work of the clinic and the hospital beds.
