Ajavelin Industries

Our place, Ajavelin Industries, is right at No. 257 on Bazar Street in Sathyamangalam. Being on Bazar Street means it is always noisy and there’s always something happening right outside. We like being in the middle of it all though. The building is an older one, and the stairs creak when you walk up them. We use the space for everything—storage, making things, and the little bit of paperwork we have to do. It’s not a shiny factory with robots. It’s just us using our hands and some old machines that we’ve learned how to fix ourselves when they break down. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a reception desk. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone working and they’ll look up to say hello. We’ve been part of the Sathyamangalam area for years. Most of our workers live just a few streets away, so we all know each other's families. We aren't interested in being the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure we do a decent job so we can keep coming back tomorrow. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but usually, we try to get home before the sun goes down. It's a simple life and we're used to the rhythm of the bazar outside. We don't need much more than some steady work and a good cup of tea in the morning.
