Sanghamam Garments

Sanghamam Garments is found at 8/309 Puthiyaboomi Thabovanam. We are located in Punjaipuliampatti which is a place that feels very local and familiar. Our work involves making garments of various kinds. The building we are in is not very new but it works for what we need. Inside, you will see a lot of people sitting at their stations working away. There is a specific rhythm to the sounds of the machines here. We start the day quite early before it gets too warm outside. The area of Puthiyaboomi is usually calm and we like the atmosphere here. We have stacks of clothes waiting to be finished and moved out. It feels like there is never enough space but we make it work. Most of us have been doing this for a long time so we don't really think about it much anymore. We just come in and do what needs to be done. There are no fancy offices or reception desks here. It is all just production space. We have a small area where we take our breaks and have some tea. It is a very straightforward way to earn a living. The community in Punjaipuliampatti is nice and we feel like we belong here. We just keep our heads down and focus on the garments we are putting together every day.
