Sakthi Auto Components

We have been operating out of 18 Amman Kovil Street for quite a while now. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle various auto components. Perundalaiyur is a quiet enough town, but we stay pretty busy most days of the week. Mostly, the job is about getting the orders right and making sure the metal pieces are cut exactly the way they should be. Sometimes the machines act up or get a bit stubborn, but we just fix them ourselves and keep things moving. It is usually hot here in Erode, so we keep the big industrial fans going from morning until evening. We aren't doing anything world-changing here, just making parts for vehicles that people actually use. The street outside gets really crowded during the local temple festivals, and sometimes we have to park the delivery trucks a bit further away than usual. We start early in the morning, around eight o’clock. The first thing we do is sweep out the dust from the night before. Coffee comes from the small stall down the road twice a day, and that’s when we take a short break to talk. There are just a few of us here. We know the neighbors by name. If someone from a nearby farm needs a specific part for a tractor, they usually just walk in and ask us. We don't have a big air-conditioned office. Just the workshop floor and a small wooden desk for the paperwork.
