Orange Costumes

Orange Costumes is located in Shop No 2 of the Shanpal Complex. If you know where Dr. Chinnasamy Skin Clinic is, then finding us is easy because we are right there in the same building. We deal with all kinds of outfits for school functions, dramas, and local festivals. The shop is usually packed with racks of clothes, masks, and various accessories. It can get a bit messy when we have five different families trying to find a Krishna costume or a police uniform at the same time. There isn’t much space to walk around when the boxes are out on the floor, but we manage. My day usually involves mending old costumes, stitching new ones, or helping kids see if a hat fits them properly. The complex itself is quite busy, and there’s always people coming and going from the clinic nearby. Sometimes the kids get scared of the clinic and then they see our colorful costumes and feel better. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know where everything is hidden in the back. During the school season, it gets really hectic and we are often here late at night getting things ready for the next morning's performances. It’s a lot of work to keep everything organized, and some days are definitely more chaotic than others. We just do our work and try to help people find what they need for their events without making it too complicated.
