Our center is located on VOC Street in the Kollampalayam area of Erode. We're right at number 99, so we're fairly easy to spot if you are looking for medical imaging in this part of Tamilnadu. The main thing we do here is run the CT scan machine. It’s a big piece of equipment that takes up a lot of the room, and it’s pretty much the center of everything we do. People come in all day, usually looking a bit worried about their health, and we just try to get them through the process without making things more stressful than they already are. The street outside can get quite dusty, and parking isn't always the easiest thing to find during the middle of the day, but we manage. Inside, we keep things as tidy as possible, though it's a working medical office, so there’s always a bit of clutter from patient files and medical supplies. We have a few technicians and office staff who have lived in Erode their whole lives. We don't have a lot of corporate polish; we just talk to people plainly and give them their scan results when they are ready. It’s a vital service for the community, but to us, it’s just our daily work routine. We show up, turn on the machines, and help the people who walk through our door for their check-ups. It is a simple, practical way to help our neighbors.
