Lakshmi Cells

Lakshmi Cells is located at number 160 on Perundurai Road in the Palayapalayam area. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the shop has become a bit of a fixture on this stretch of the road. We mainly deal with batteries and power solutions, which is why the name is what it is. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the stock to make sure there’s still room for people to walk in. Perundurai Road is always busy with traffic, so we see a lot of people stopping by on their way somewhere else. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or fancy displays. Most people come in because they have a specific need, and we do our best to help them find the right battery for their vehicle or home setup. The walls are lined with shelves, and there’s usually a faint smell of new rubber and plastic in the air. We are a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers. We open up early in the morning and stay until late evening most days. It’s hard work, especially moving the heavier batteries around, but it keeps us active. We appreciate the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s just a normal local business trying to do things right in Palayapalayam, and that is more than enough to keep us going.
