Lab-Incharge&Biochemist

I work as the lab incharge and biochemist over here in the Mukasipudur area of Bhavani. The place is called Panangattuthottam, and it is a quiet spot most of the time. My day is mostly spent looking at test tubes and making sure the chemicals are stored where they should be. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important for the people who live around here. I’ve been doing this for a long time now. The building is older, and sometimes the plumbing acts up, but we make it work. I don't have a big staff, so I end up doing a lot of the small things myself, like cleaning the benches or reordering supplies when we run low. The weather in Tamil Nadu can be quite humid, so the lab stays a bit sticky in the afternoons. I try to keep everything in order, though my desk usually has a few too many notebooks on it. People come in from the village and the nearby towns. I try to explain things clearly without using too many big words that nobody understands. It is just me and a couple of others here. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. If someone needs us, they usually just show up or send word. It’s a steady life, and I like the routine of it. We just do our bit and go home when the sun sets. We're just trying to keep the lab running smoothly day by day.
