Our office is at 224/7 on Vinayagar Koil Street-7, over in LIC Nagar, Moolapalayam. It’s a mostly residential neighborhood with a few small businesses tucked away here and there. Josam Import and Export isn’t a name you’ll see in the newspapers. We are just a small, local team doing our thing. Our office is a simple room where we spend most of our hours tracking shipments and making sure the documentation is correct for every item that comes or goes. It can be quite repetitive, but it’s important work. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals pinned to the wall. We just want to make sure the crates and containers get to where they need to go without any trouble. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or a supplier calls with a problem, and we just have to sit down and figure it out. The street outside is usually pretty calm, which is nice when we have a lot of paperwork to get through. We started this business because we wanted to do something practical. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just use simple English and common sense to get through the day. Most of our clients have been with us for a while because they know we are just regular people trying to do a solid job. It's a modest setup, but it works well enough for our daily needs.
