Jay Datar Brokers

We are over at Akshar Arcade, right on the fourth floor at office 422. If you know the Darpan Six Road area, you probably see us around. We’ve been here a while, right across from the Memnagar Fire Station. It’s a busy spot in Navrangpura. Sometimes the sirens go off and we have to stop talking for a second. We do brokering work here every day. It’s mostly just us handling paperwork and talking on the phones. The office isn't anything fancy, just desks and chairs and files. We deal with people looking for deals or trying to sort out their property stuff. We try to keep things moving. Most days start early before the traffic gets really bad on the main road. Navrangpura has changed a lot since we first set up shop here. There’s more buildings now. People come by to ask questions about the market. We just tell them what we know. It’s a job. We sit here, look out at the road, and wait for the next call. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. My cousin used to work here too but now it's just a few of us. We know the neighbors in the arcade pretty well by now. We usually get tea from the stall downstairs around eleven. It's just a regular local business trying to get through the paperwork without too much trouble.
