Aiswarya Textiles Mills

You can find our mill at Plot No. 150 on Chinnamuthu Main Street. Idayankattuvalasu is a busy area, and we fit right in with the rest of the textile trade around here. We’ve been running the looms and machines for quite some time. It’s a loud place to work, with the constant clatter of the machinery, but you get used to it after a while. We focus on making fabrics that people can actually use. We don't do anything too experimental, just good solid textiles. The office is just a small corner of the building where we keep the ledgers and handle the orders. Most of our day is spent checking the thread counts and making sure the dyes are coming out right. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the details. We have workers who have been with us for years, and they know the machines better than anyone. Chinnamuthu Main Street is always packed with trucks and people moving goods, so there’s a lot of energy. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We're just a local mill doing our part in the textile chain. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but we always get back to it as soon as we can. It’s a steady life and the smell of raw cotton is something you never really forget. We keep the doors open for the breeze when it’s hot.
