Gray'c Impex

Gray'c Impex is on No. 15 Sri Gugha Muthumariamman Kovil Street. We’re located in Thirunagar Colony 4th Street. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always someone moving something on a cart or a bike. Our space is filled with tables for checking and packing. Since we do impex work, there’s a lot of paperwork and labeling involved, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time double-checking sizes and making sure the counts are right before things go into the cartons. The street outside can get pretty narrow when people park their bikes, so loading the vans is always a bit of a challenge. We’ve had to get good at maneuvering boxes quickly. It’s not a glamorous job. We’re often covered in lint by the end of the shift. We have a small desk for the computer, but most of our time is spent standing up and moving around. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s about getting the orders ready and making sure the quality is okay. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We just try to get everything shipped out on time.
