Goeco Bags

We are over at No. 26 Paari Nagar. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but there is still some noise from the neighbors. We do all our bag work right here in this building. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of the materials we use. We have stacks of canvas and other fabrics piled up in the corners. The sewing machines make a steady rhythm that you get used to after a while. We started doing this because we saw how many plastic bags were being used and thought we could make something different. Now, we just spend our days stitching and checking the handles. It is a small team here. We mostly just talk about the work or what we are having for lunch. No. 26 has been our home for a while, and the walls are covered with notes and measurements we’ve scribbled down. The light isn't great in the back room, so we use some extra lamps when the weather is cloudy. Paari Nagar is a nice area, and we like being tucked away from the heavy traffic. Sometimes a delivery truck blocks the whole street, and we have to wait to move our stuff out. It’s just how it is. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just make bags and hope they last a long time for whoever buys them from us.
