G Mart Department Store

If you are walking down the Main Road in Paramathi, you will find us at 195-1, right near the Indian Bank. It is a busy spot and people are always coming and going. We started G Mart Department Store because we saw that families needed a place where they could get everything at once without walking all over town. The shop has aisles for different things, though sometimes we move things around and people get a bit confused. We carry a bit of everything, from cooking oils to plastic buckets and school supplies for the kids. It gets crowded on weekends when everyone is off work. The floors need sweeping every hour because of all the feet coming through. We try to keep things organized but sometimes a shipment arrives and boxes sit in the corner for a day or two until we can get to them. My brother and a couple of local boys help me stock the shelves. We aren't a big chain, just a local business trying to keep the pantry staples in stock for our neighbors. Some days the heat is a bit much, but the ceiling fans keep the air moving enough. We stay open late because people usually remember they need something right after dinner. It is just a job we do, keeping the store running and making sure the inventory stays fresh. No big secrets here.
