We have been running Erode Yarn Sizing Private Limited for a while now from our spot at Plot No. 17. You can find us in Triveni Nagar, over in the Engodampalayam area of Erode. It is a busy part of town with a lot of movement every day. Our work is pretty straightforward. We do yarn sizing, which basically means we get the threads ready for the weavers. It is a lot of work with the machines and making sure the starch or whatever coating we are using is just right. The building isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular industrial space that gets the job done. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. Most of them live nearby, so we all know each other. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to be processed. Sometimes the machines are loud and the air gets a bit humid from the sizing process, but that is just part of the daily life here. We don't spend time on big advertisements or anything like that. People in the trade know where we are and what we do. We just focus on getting the orders finished and making sure the yarn is handled correctly before it leaves our gates. It is steady work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening most days of the week. There is always something to do.
