This area is quite quiet compared to the big cities, but it gets busy enough with all the local trade going on between the towns. We’ve got our setup here and we spend most of our hours making sure the exports are ready to go. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of all the paperwork that comes with it. The weather in Tamil Nadu can be a real challenge, especially in the afternoons when the sun is really hitting the roof and the fans don't do much. We just drink plenty of water and keep the work moving along. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. Sathy is the nearby taluk and people around here know us as a regular local business. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big HR department to handle things. It’s just us managing the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes things go wrong with the shipping or a machine breaks down, and we just fix it and carry on. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the people working here are mostly locals from the village. It feels like a small community inside the gates.
