Dhanvantri Critical Care Centre

Dhanvantri Critical Care Centre is located over at numbers 27 and 28 on Poonkundranar Street in the Karungalpachyam area. It’s a bit of a quieter street, which is actually good for a place that handles critical care. We have been operating here for several years now. The setup we have is built for people who need more than just a quick check-up. We have beds and equipment for patients who need to stay under observation for a while. It’s not a huge, shiny corporate hospital; it feels more like a local facility where we know what we’re doing. The nurses and staff work long shifts to make sure someone is always watching over the patients. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the shifts, and look after the people who are unwell. The building is split across the two plots, so we have a decent amount of room, though it can still feel tight when we are full. Most of our patients come from the surrounding neighborhoods in Karungalpachyam. We try to talk to the families in a way they understand because having someone in critical care is stressful enough. We keep things plain and simple here. Our focus is just on the medical side and making sure the equipment is working and the patients are being cared for properly every single day.
