Darshana Associates Valparai Tea is located at House 101 on Erode Road in Perundurai. We are pretty much focused on tea from the Valparai region, which is how we got our name. Our office on Erode Road is a simple place where we manage orders and distribution. It’s a busy road, so there’s always a lot of movement around us. We aren't some big corporate entity with a board of directors. It’s just a group of us who know a lot about tea and how to get it to the right people. We spend our days checking quality and making sure deliveries aren't late. Perundurai is a good hub for us because it’s well-connected. We don't put a lot of money into fancy signs or advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. The office is often full of the smell of fresh tea leaves, which is one of the better parts of the job. Sometimes the logistics get complicated and we have to stay late to sort out a shipment. We don’t mind, though. It’s just the nature of the tea trade. We aren't trying to be the most famous tea associates out there, just the ones who do a decent job every day without any drama. If you're near Erode Road, you'll see our place, plain and simple. We use handwritten notes pinned to a corkboard to keep track of things. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even in the heat.
