Barani Industries

Barani Industries is set up at C-23 in the Sipcot Industrial Growth Center over in Perundurai. Being in a big industrial area like this means there is always a lot of activity and noise around us. Trucks are constantly moving in and out of the center, and the dust usually settles on everything by the end of the day. Our building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our equipment laid out to make the most of the space. It is a bit different from the small street-side shops because we have to follow more rules being in Sipcot. Still, we are just a group of people who like working with materials and seeing a finished product. The mornings start with a quick check of the machines and then we get right into it. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there. We don't have a fancy waiting room for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk to them right there on the shop floor over the noise of the fans. Perundurai is a good place for this kind of work because everything is connected. It can be a long day, especially when the weather is humid, but we just put our heads down and get through the tasks. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
