Anusha Hospital

Down at No. 1051 on EVN Road, that is where Anusha Hospital is. It’s a larger building than some of the small clinics nearby, but it still feels like a local place. I spend my days here making sure the hallways are clear and the patients are getting where they need to go. We have several rooms for staying over and a small area for emergencies. EVN Road is usually packed with buses and bikes, so there is always a bit of noise from the street. The hospital isn't brand new, and you can see some wear on the floors and the doors, but it’s kept clean. We have a small canteen area where people can get tea while they wait for their family members. I usually grab a cup myself in the mid-afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s a busy environment with nurses and doctors walking back and forth constantly. I try to keep the registration desk organized, though the papers tend to pile up by the end of the shift. We have a big gate at the entrance and a small patch of garden that I try to water when I have a spare minute. Most of the people who come here are from the surrounding blocks. It’s a practical hospital that serves the community without any big fuss or expensive decorations. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting people the help they need.
