Aakruti Arts

Aakruti Arts is tucked away over at Telephone Bhavan. It’s a central location which makes it easy to find, though the building itself is quite large and can be confusing for some. We have a modest space where we keep all our supplies and finished pieces. It is mostly a place where we sit and work on our designs. The shelves are packed with all sorts of materials and half-finished projects that we haven't quite finished yet. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we keep adding new things and rarely throw anything away. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the creative work day in and day out. The light in the morning is the best for working, so we try to get most of the detailed stuff done then. People often walk by and peek in to see what we are doing on the benches. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. It isn't a high-end gallery with fancy lights. It is more of a working studio where things are a bit messy and there is always some dust on the floor. We spend a lot of time just experimenting with different ideas to see what looks good. It’s a quiet life for the most part, and we like being in this part of town where everything is close by. We just focus on our own craft and stay out of trouble.
