Zx Architects

Zx Architects is tucked away on Yuva Kala Tarang Road. We are in the Mamangalam area of Elamakkara. It’s a quiet enough street for the most part. We spend our days looking at blueprints and trying to make sense of what clients want for their spaces. It is mostly just us working through the math and the layout of rooms. Ernakulam is a crowded place to build in, so we have to be careful with how we use every inch of ground. We don't have a big receptionist or a glossy lobby. It’s just an office with computers and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes we are out on-site getting mud on our shoes, and other times we are stuck here drawing lines. Designing a building is slower than people think. There are always many changes and phone calls to deal with. We just try to keep things moving along. If you live around Elamakkara, you might know where we are. We've been doing this for a bit now. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work. It’s a job like any other, but we get to see things actually get built, which is nice. We focus on the practical side of things like light and where the doors should go. It's steady work and it keeps our small team busy enough. We just take things as they come and try to finish each plan before the next one starts.
