Zafeer Creations Llp

Zafeer Creations is located on Kathrikadavu Road in the Thammanam area of Ernakulam. The office is actually in Mudavathil House, 35/ 2762 B. It’s a bit of a mix of a home and a workspace. Being on Kathrikadavu Road means there’s always a lot of motorbikes and cars buzzing past the gate, making it quite a lively spot. We do design and creation work here. Usually, that means there are sketches lying around and a lot of fabric scraps on the floor. It’s not a perfectly clean studio like you see on TV. We have sewing machines and cutting tables squeezed into the rooms. Sometimes the lighting isn’t the best, so we have to move the tables closer to the windows during the day. We’ve been here in Thammanam for some time now. People in the neighborhood know us as the place where things get made. We don’t have a big storefront with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a workshop where we focus on the actual making of the items. The days can get pretty long when we have a deadline, and there’s usually tea being made in the back. We just try to do decent work and stay out of the way of the traffic outside. It’s a good spot for us, and we like being part of the local Ernakulam community. We just keep making things one piece at a time.
