Votonomics Foundation

Our office for Votonomics Foundation is located at the Keepadayil house. It's right by the Market P.O. in the Velloorkunnam area of Muvattupuzha. Being so close to the market means it’s always a bit lively around here. You can hear the sounds of the town all day long while we sit at our desks. It is a simple setup, nothing too grand or professional-looking. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our records and a table where we sit to talk. Most of the people who come by are locals from around Ernakulam district. We deal with various bits of paperwork and community stuff throughout the week. The building itself is an older style, which we quite like. It has a bit of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint eventually. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. It is just a place to get things sorted. Muvattupuzha is a good spot for us because it’s central for many people living in the nearby villages. We usually keep the windows open to let in the breeze, though it gets a bit dusty sometimes. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep things moving along. If you’re near the market, you can find us easily enough. We’re usually around from morning until the sun starts to set. It's nothing fancy, just a room with some old desks and plenty of files.
