Our office is over at the Trans Asia Corporate Park on the Seaport Airport Road in Kakkanad. The address is XIV/396-C. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Kochi. Trans Asian Shipping Services Pvt Ltd has been here for a while now, and we are right in the middle of all the logistics action that happens near the port and the airport. The building is decent, but inside it is just us working through piles of shipping documents every day. Shipping is a messy business with a lot of moving parts, and we spend most of our time trying to make sure everything lines up. We deal with a lot of different people, from truck drivers to port officials. It is rarely a quiet day in the office. The road outside, the Seaport Airport Road, is always packed with containers and tankers, which reminds us of the work we have to do. We aren't a huge operation, but we stay busy enough. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. We don’t do much advertising; most people find us because they need something moved across the ocean and they know we are here. It is a lot of emails, phone calls, and making sure the customs paperwork is right so things don’t get stuck. We just take it one day at a time and do what is needed.
