We set up Sugar Russh Cafe And Desserts Private Limited over at Subhash Nagar. The building is called Kailasam, number 31/673. It’s tucked away on a cross road near Changampuzha Road in Edapally. Kochi is a busy place, but our little corner is a bit different. We mostly make sweets and coffee. People stop in when they are walking around Ernakulam. We didn't want a huge place, just something manageable. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the cross road. We put a lot of time into the kitchen. It’s where most of the work happens every day. We use the 682024 pin code area for all our deliveries and mail. We aren't part of some big chain or franchise. It’s just a local cafe run by people who live right here in the city. Sometimes the ovens get too hot and we have to open all the windows to get a breeze. That’s just how it goes in a small kitchen. We started small and we have stayed that way on purpose. Most days we are just baking and then cleaning up the mess. We get a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. It’s nice to see the same faces every morning. We aren't trying to be fancy or high-end. We just like making desserts. If you are near Edapally, you might have passed us. We keep things pretty relaxed. No uniforms or corporate rules here. Just a kitchen and a few tables for whoever wants to sit down and rest for a bit.
