St. George Mission Charity Foundation

We are the St. George Mission Charity Foundation, located at IV/196 in Yordhanapuram. It is right in the middle of Kalady, specifically in the Thuravoor village part of Ernakulam. Our office is just a simple building that we’ve used for years. It is nothing fancy, just a place for us to meet and figure out how to help people in the village. We get a lot of visitors from the neighborhood. Some need help with their kids' school stuff and others just need some food or clothes. We try to be there for them as much as we can. The 683574 area is where we all grew up, so we know the families around here quite well. We don't have a big board of directors or anything like that. It is just us and a few volunteers who give their time. Sometimes we run out of space for all the things people donate, so boxes end up stacked in the corners. It is a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just see what someone needs and we try to get it for them. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our small corner of it. It’s a lot of work but seeing people smile makes it feel okay.
